How do credits work?
RoastifyAI uses a credit-based system. Each roast consumes credits. You can purchase credit packs through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your credits never expire, and new users receive starter credits to try the app.
How do I change comedy styles?
You can select your preferred comedy style (such as Savage, Wholesome, etc.) before generating each roast. Simply tap on the style selector in the app interface and choose the tone that fits your mood!
Why aren't my photos uploading?
If photos aren't uploading, try these steps:
  • Check that you've granted RoastifyAI permission to access your photos in iOS Settings
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Try closing and reopening the app
  • Make sure the photo file size isn't too large (under 10MB recommended)

Are my photos stored on your servers?
No! Your privacy is our priority. Photos are transmitted securely, analyzed once by AI, and immediately discarded. We never store your photos on our servers. Only the generated roast text is saved to your roast history.
Can I get a refund for credits?
Due to the instant nature of AI-generated roasts and digital credit delivery, all credit pack purchases are final. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent roast delivery after credits were deducted, please contact support within 48 hours at support@roastifyai.app and we'll help resolve the issue.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete your roast history and account data directly from the app using the delete button in your settings. This will permanently delete all roasts associated with your device ID. Note that this action cannot be undone. If you need additional assistance, contact us at support@roastifyai.app.
What happens if I reinstall the app?
Your roast history, credit balance, and purchases are linked to a secure device identifier stored in your iOS Keychain. This means even if you delete and reinstall the app, your data will be restored automatically on the same device.
Is RoastifyAI safe for kids?
RoastifyAI is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. The app generates comedic roasts that may contain sarcasm and humor that might not be appropriate for younger audiences.
Why was my roast declined or resulted in an error?
Occasionally, our AI safety filters may decline requests that contain inappropriate content, or technical issues may occur. If you received an error but your credits were deducted, please contact support at support@roastifyai.app within 48 hours with details, and we'll investigate.
Can I share my roasts?
Absolutely! You retain the right to share roasts generated by the app freely. However, please be mindful of others' privacy and don't share roasts of people without their consent.
